Really lovely staff at Zante Plaza. Only 10-15 mins taxi from the airport (€25 it cost us). Upon arrival we were met with the most fabulous welcome from Petros, what a guy!!! He showed us to our room and to the snack bar and other pool. We had a pool view balcony room, standard but nice. We stayed all inclusive so we literally needed to room to change, wash and sleep. One of our party had an issue with the bed, we brought this up and it was changed that day. The other staff were also very friendly and helpful, informing us of a traditional parade in the town of Zakynthos, they ordered us a taxi and could tell us the price there and then (€17 one way). The food was absolutely delicious and it was a good selection of drinks too. However, personally I'm glad I went out of season due to location of the hotel as we wanted a nice relaxing break away. If you're wanting somewhere close to the strip of Laganas it's a perfect location for you. Shops, beach and Cameo Island are all within walking distance. The beach and island offer some great views. We didn't visit Turtle Bay but there are people offering boat trips everywhere. Entertainment are the hotel was fabulous too. We had a duo called 'Flying Rooster' and also a Greek themed night with traditional dancing where they had customers up joining in (lots of fun). We went the day they were doing bingo but I imagine that good fun too! Thank you for a lovely welcome and stay!!!
