Bad hotel, dirty and old, ugly breakfast, fatigued room, not even advertised on bookings, bad quality/price ratio, dirty laundry, tiny, dirty bathroom.

Horrible experience

This should be banned, there is a deception in the description of the hotel by the owners. Even the photos do not translate the reality. This hotel was in the works and I think for many months if they just want it to answer their presentation. For 60 €, we were entitled to a reception where all the equipment was on the floor with the workers wiring word (so no wifi or payment by card). In the floors where a lamp on two floors was working, other workers or a few were at work. In the room of another era, the TV was on the floor in its cardboard and the wires were connecting it to the ceiling. A very old Greek refrigerator had a train hanging on the ground floor. The beds (not grinced) were used.

It may be acceptable in five years.

Hotel where we spent 10 nights in Greece, beautiful sunsets on this terrace, excellent price ratio, parking behind the hotel, to return.

It's a wonderful holiday in Igomeniza.

I was at this hotel on the night of August 11, passing to Lefkada. From the photos on Booking it looked definitely better than it actually is. One room is an absolutely sad and depressing bathroom. Old and damaged furniture full of scratch marks and various incisions left in place by the owners of the building. TV cables and air conditioning in sight and without adequate protection. A small, fat bathroom with the lower edge of the door, so to give an example, nothing completely corrupted by time and humidity. A tiny shoulder with a plastic shutter that attacked the first move. So overall squishy and all the scratch for the figure of 51 euros without breakfast. I also happened to forget about the quality of my cell phone and I forgot about it the next day after I went to the hotel, so to make an example, nothing completely corrupted by time and humidity.

Stay away from me

Position on the mai road, thank good point. Price quite reasonable also, but for less the amount we coind find in Greece much nicer location. We book a matrimonial bad (we had a baby to let sleep between us) but despite the request, I could not find it available. Moreover air conditioning was not working properly, and the structure very old and not well maintained at all, as well cleaning not brilliant. Last, owner not really a smiling and kind man..
I would look for further options

 Nice position, but poor appeal 

We had booked a room for one night arriving from Italy late at night. From Booking's photos it looked decent, but the reality was really disappointing. Fatiguing rooms with a faint smell of smoke, we even had to make our bed because the sheets were folded down (I felt like I was back in 1987 when I was in East Germany at the time).

Never again

When you arrive in the lobby, you feel catapulted in the 80's: wooden sofas with flower cushions. After we leave the car in their private parking lot, they give us the keys to the room, and with them an anti-mosquito plate (!?!).

El Greco has bad reviews, but perhaps deserved: certainly it is a Spartan hotel, simple, essential; furnishings at a minimum, easy shower to water, toilet with some difficulties. However, it is very cheap, even in the highest season, has air conditioning, TV, the oven for mosquitoes, its interior parking (very convenient in a often crowded area); the location is very central, the sea is a step away, restaurants and bars everywhere. It is clean, practical, well organized. And the staff is very kind and smiling: this also counts.

It turns out that we arrive and the first room is already with the bathroom with half a dozen mosquitoes. We go down complaining and we are told that this is the way it is, that if we want it, we're going to fuck it and if not, we're going to leave. $45 a night is a scam. Of course we leave, yes, not without first paying $10 to use the bathroom.
