My family and I stayed here for two weeks this summer and it was incredible. The accommodation was clean, well maintained and met our every need as an apartment. The pool, bar/cafe and other facilities were also excellent. A special mention must go to the food and drinks - they were all delicious and made with great care.

We booked the apartment here because of the location - really close to some great towns, restaurants, beaches and historical sites. Our experience was there was always free sun loungers by the pool, the nearest beach is less than five minutes away, and if you want to eat elsewhere, the nearest taverna was authentic and delicious! 

With that all said, we will be going back because on top of all these brilliant features, the staff were incredible! So kind, thorough and caring. We really felt part of the family and were looked after superbly. We got so much support and insider advice on when and where to visit etc. they really made our stay. 

We couldn’t recommend them highly enough, and plan to return next year!

Paradise by name - paradise by nature!

What makes this place unmissable is the hosts. Sevi and Tulaa are the kindest and most hardworking ladies who do everything they can to help with your stay. From managing dietary requirements to helping to sort out car hire problems - nothing is too much to ask. We stayed with 2 families totalling 10 people. The properties are clean and well maintained. The pool area is spectacular with a lovely bar / restaurant area. The location is excellent, just 5 mins to a quiet beach and great taverna. It is a 5 min drive or 25 min walk into Agios Nikolaos

The very best of Greek hospitality in a lovely location

Just WOW. We arrived here after a long journey to absolute bliss. The apartments are set about 3 Kilometres away from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. It was only a €7 taxi from the bus station to the apartments. The apartments are surrounded by orange and olive trees and are set back off the main road so in a lovely quiet location. 

The apartments are great, really clean and bright. The kitchen facilities are great - we even managed to bake greek potatoes in the oven it was that good! 

The pool is so lovely. So clean and well looked after. I would often order a cocktail at the bar and be told to go and sit down and the lovely lady would bring it too my sunbed! When we ordered mojitos the mint was fresh picked from their gardens which was a nice touch.

The location is great, there is a lovely beach a very short walk away from the apartments down a path. There is also a great Taverna opposite this beach with a stunning view. The walk to town is really nice passing lots of taverns and beaches. There is also a great shop down the road which sells everything you could possibly need so you don't even need to go to town if you don't want to! On the walk to town there are a few tourist places where you can book excursions, I would definitely recommend visiting the island of Spinalonga while you are in Crete. Such a fab day out and a really interesting place to visit.

The apartments are also situated super close to a family run Cretian olive oil farm which is an absolute MUST. So many people were arriving in their hire cars from the other side of the island to visit this place so definitely make the most of it being around the corner.

The owners of this place are so lovely. So welcoming and friendly and really will do their best to make sure you have a pleasant and comfortable stay. I expressed an interest to the daughter of the owner about learning Greek and she took the time out of the day to give me a short greek lesson! Honestly cannot fault this place. When I come back to Crete in the future, I will definitely be paying this place another visit. The perfect setting to have an amazing holiday.

The perfect setting to have an amazing holiday

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment in August 2018. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was spacious and clean with great views of the sea. A maid came everyday to make the beds empty the bins and clean the floors. The towels were changed weekly. The pool was a good size and had enough sun beds for everyone, however it did look a little tired especially the parasols which when opened were ripped and in need of replacing. The only down side was the location. There was one supermarket about a 10 minute walk away and one large hotel on the beach. There were barely a handful of restaurants nearby and so in the evenings we walked to town which was a least a 35 to 45 minute walk. Lots of great places to eat and some lovely shops there. We got a taxi back which cost 6 euros one way. Overall the apartments were great but for us the location let it down as there is really not a lot there at all.

Fab apartments shame about the location

Nice hotel run by a lovely Greek family. The apartment is spacious and clean. We had a beautiful view from our terrace. The pool is nice and treated with salt which we all loved, felt like being in the sea. Nice location, walking distance to local restaurants, local beach. Would stay again.

Lovely & quiet

Ok I agree the family that owns and runs these apartments are just super, very friendly and helpfully. Also I will say that the apartments are very clean but need major updating.  My wife and I look at the reviews and said that this would be a great place to stay, But once we arrived I found that it was not ideal for people who have mobility issues.  When you arrive at street level you have to navigate down a number of steep stairs of at least 75 meters till you arrive at the pool/ bar/ reception area.  The free parking is a bit of a joke as if you were not guided to it by one of the staff (in your vehicle telling you were to go)  you would never find it.  The road to this parking area is rock and sand not paved as is the parking lot, just a sheep trail.  Now to be fair one must realize that the cost was half of what a hotel offered so you should expect it’s not a five star establishment.  But what took me back was the lack of investment in the property. The TV in the bedroom was at least 20-25 years old, not even the TV in the bar area was new, I had one like it in 1986.  The bathrooms were functional but the vanity for the toothbrushes was old pressboard that was coming apart.  The air conditioning was only one old unit located in kitchen area.  There were no AC units in any of the bedrooms. If your looking for a no thrills vacation on a limited budget this is a great place.  In the end I think these apartments were misrepresented and we decided to go to an hotel down the road which had a paved parking lot and was handicap assessable.  We lost 400€ in the process but was a lot happier that we dint stay.

Not everything you read about these apartments is the full story

We stayed here in May 2018 for 11 nights. The Apartments are owned by a lovely lady called Tula and her daughters help her run the place. This is a beautiful place to stay, all the apartments are set amongst Olive Trees, lemon trees, Orange Trees, they all have a large terrace / balcony area with a table and chairs outside. The apartments are specious, immaculate, sheets and towels changed every few days and the apartment is cleaned every day except Sundays. There is plenty of storage in the bedroom and the kitchen area has everything you need if you wish to cook including a fridge. There’s a lovely pool and bar area too. We absolutely loved staying here, it felt very much like home. Tula adds something very special to the place, she’s a very a caring, intelligent lady with a lovely sense of humour. We normally stay in 4/5 star resorts but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It’s about a 30 minute walk into Agios, there’s a lovely beach across the road, Havania Beach and there is a great Taverna round the corner called Olga’s. You can catch a bus to either Agios or Elounda, these are about once an hour so you have to time it right. If you are looking for somewhere outside the Centre of Agios, Primavera is just perfect. Tula and her daughters are very lovely and will help you in any way they can. Primavera is a special place to stay that has a heart and soul.
