Few hotels in this world offers such wonderfully helpful staff.They are the best!!!!!

Perfect place to stay in Hydra.  Large room and large bathroom.  Very clean and quiet but still close to bars and restaurants.  Host is very nice and response quickly.  I definitely recommend this place to stay and wish to go back again.

The Alexandra Guesthouse is a great find on Hydra. The staff was friendly and had great suggestions for sightseeing and dining. The room was small, efficiently furnished and had been recently renovated. Everything you need for a stay on Hydra.

Alexandra Guesthouse on Hydra is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were incredibly clean, with linens and towels changed daily. The staff were very friendly, and our hostess was particularly kind and service-minded, which made our stay even better.We really appreciated being able to relax in a cooled room, and the building's authentic feel gave us a true taste of local culture. We did not want white, smooth walls and boring, generic hotel interiors on our trip, and Alexandra Guesthouse delivered exactly what we were looking for. We truly felt like we were staying in a local Hydra (guest)house, not a mainstream hotel.If we travel to Hydra again in the future, Alexandra Guesthouse is at the top of our list of places to stay.

Wonderful guesthouse. Quiet, clean, nice design. Very close to harbour and Center, but not loud. Very good shape. Very nice and service oriented staff. They‘ll see me soon again. Had a wonderful time.

A wonderful boutique hotel in the best location near the port of Hydra only minutes away from all the restaurants and bars but also in a quiet street. The building is a traditional island house with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The cleaning staff does a remarkable job and is very polite and eager to help. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway or for a long stay in Hydra. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

What a wonderful place to stay while in Hydra! It’s very close to the port - just a quick walk back from all the excitement and the guesthouse is so clean and refreshing. There’s a lovely shared courtyard to have a coffee or a drink and the rooms are quite nice. Everything is very crisp and clean and the shower and amenities are great. The AC is a nice way to sleep through the night as well. Would definitely recommend the Alexandra Guesthouse to anyone staying in Hydra.

A real gem

Lovely stay in an A+ location

We came to Hydra for a friends wedding and wanted somewhere to stay close to the town. We were met off of the ferry by our kind and friendly host who showed us where everything we needed was, including the bakery, boats, pharmacy etc. They very kindly took our cases to the property for us. Our room was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The shower was fabulous and the pillows were also very dreamy. The room had air conditioning which meant we were kept cool and slept soundly. I really loved staying here and would definitely return.

We loved Alexandra Hotel

This is a very relaxing, comfortable and beautiful venue to stay. The place is a few hundred meters from the port, and the surrounding is also very picturesque. It has a yard as a public space, where you can use the utensils for simple cooking.

The hostess is warm, friendly and very helpful. She gave me useful suggestions about living on Hydra, and knew the island very well. If Hydra is the paradise, then she is the angel.

Almost like a paradise

Alexandra guest house is a perfect location in hydra town. It is close to the main streets, but at the same time very quite. Rooms are perfectly equipped, nice and very clean. They do not serve breakfast, but it is not a problem, because rooms are equipped with boiler and fridge,  moreover there is an internal courtyard with tables where people can stay. So we've had breakfast with tee, coffee and cakes every morning.
Owners are very kind and friendly. Our stay was very pleasant.

Perfect location

A quite and very clean small hotel right in the middle of Hydra town. 
Next to the picturesque port, all the restaurants shops and bars. Also in very quiet area.
The hotel has no common areas apart from a small common garden were breakfast is served, which is however more then enough for the summer period. The best part is returning from the beach and have no stairs to climb to reach your room with all that heat. No steps at all.
