When I read some of the reviews I was apprehensive about the apartments but I have loved my stay here very clean Room cleaned daily great pool atmosphere two ladies at reception very friendly recommend Olympia restaurant great food and very cheap 

Stayed in the odysseus for a week from the 11th of September, and after reading some of the reviews on here, I wasn't expecting too much . I was very impressed. We had a 3 bedroom apartment for 4 of us, and all 3 bedrooms were spacious with twin beds, wardrobe, dressing table, side table, and a balcony each. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn't use it except for brews. There was no front room, which didn't matter as we just sat on one of the balconies, and there was a toilet, shower, and sink in both, continuous hot water more than enough for all 4 of us to shower twice a day! Our room wasn't far from the pool, and the entrance. The pool was lovely and clean, and the 24-hour bar was well stocked . Spirus was the day barman and Nicos the night barman, both lovely guys that look after you. We had breakfast included, which was available 9am until 12pm and was toast, 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, and a hash brown 😋. We had a fabulous stay at the odysseus and would highly recommend this hotel. Yes, you pay overnight tax, aircon, and security boxes as you do in all the hotels. It's convenient situated at the bottom of the strip close to everything. Heard people complaining about the Agnes part of the hotel, but our side was beyond perfect and worth much more than the 1 star it has. It was 💯 better than the 3 star all-inclusive hotel I stayed in zante earlier in the year !

We had read previous reviews about this hotel and decided that we would judge it for ourselves with an open mind and I'm glad that we did. We stayed there for week from 28th Aug until 4th Sept 2023 and we were received a lovely welcome from the 2 ladies on reception who were very friendly. The room itself was basic but was swept and cleaned everyday. The bar staff were very friendly and kept the pool area very clean. We would have liked the cooking facilities to be more modern and more cooking utensils but other than that it was a lovely cheap breakaway.

Felt I should leave a review about hotel Agnes after reading all the one star reviews.

PEOPLE you need some common sense, this hotel was cheap and you pay for what you get. 

I am a 32 year old lady and after all the lockdowns, I wanted to go somewhere fun and on a budget. It was a week self catering and it cost me just under £400, when I got to the hotel some had even paid £280 for a week with Tui.

Because of the low cost I expected it to be basic and I didn't have high expectations so therefore not to be disappointed on arrival.

On arrival to the hotel I was greeted by Tina (I think) yes there is an extra charge for air con and a safe, but If you travel self catering this is the case the majority of the time. She didn't force me to pay the 50 euros. I actually came down after the first night and told her I didn't need the aircon and she was fine and gave me the euros back but I kept the safe.

My room was basic but it was always clean and the sheets were changed every day. Yes there were some hinges falling off the cupboards and the seat to the dressing table was wobbly but all I needed was a bed for the week which was absolutely fine. 

Spyros who worked around the bar, yes he could come across abrupt and rude but that was his sense of humor with the guests and I found myself always laughing at his ridiculous comments. (if you don't have banter, do not stay here)

If you want a quiet hotel you should not be booking one of the most liveliest places in Greece. There was a tv show called "what happens in kavos stays in kavos" 

The week I stayed in September there were couples of all ages, groups of girls and we all ended up socializing together and having a great time.

The only one complaint I have was the door to my room was a bit of a pain to open, but once I got the knack to it, it was fine.

Overall the week I had here, it was absolutely awesome. The other guests who stayed here, made it for me. Playing cards, getting drunk together, doing water sports and all going out for dinner, I won't forget them and all the laughs.

Thanks to Katarina, Tina, Spiros and Nikos.  Had a fantastic holiday after a really bad year.   These people made my holiday so special. This is my 4th time back there and will go back next year too.  Nothing is too much for them.  Great atmosphere and all so friendly.   Beautiful views out to sea from some balconies. Watch the Most beautiful sunrise too This is my piece of paradise. Can’t wait to get back there.

Very clean rooms, basic but typically Greek, bar was well stocked even though it was towards the end of season. Food was delicious again basic snacks but very tasty. Right on the beach, supermarket next door which is 24 hours. Definitely recommend Agnes Beach.

We stayed in the Odysseus apartments for our girls holiday for a week. There was a group of 11 of us so we needed three rooms and each one was brilliant. The rooms were basic but exactly what we wanted and needed. The only bad thing was the showers but we already expected that they weren’t be the best due to other reviews. Everywherewas clean and our rooms were cleaned everyday with a fresh towel during the week. The pool area was lively during the day and music was always playing. You pay 1.50 euro for a subbed but get a bottle of water with it so this didn’t bother us at all. The 24 hour bar serves pizzas and toasties all through the night so after a night out you can easily get some cheap food. And the music wasn’t as loud in the early hours of the morning so sleeping was no problem for us. The shop in reception has all your essentials and drinks for cheap prices aswell. Our expectations weren’t very high of the hotel as we got it for a cheap price however the pictures online really don’t do the hotel justice. Would recommended to anyone going on a lads/ girls holiday that these hotels have a great atmosphere and are perfect for a party holiday.

We stayed in the Agnes apartments 19th to 27th aug 2022 and paid £262 each including baggage and transfers. 

The self catering rooms are basic but have everything you need and the beds were comfy. Sheets and towels changed once a week so maybe take a spare towel. Also take toilet roll as you will have to purchase as only one roll provided when you check in and supermarkets unless you drive to Lidl Which is like 20 mins away. 

The pool area was clean and plenty of sunbeds all the time any time of day as we would often not be up till past 12 as we was partying on the strip till 5am most nights. Pool bar food was good as well overall. 

Location is perfect you can literally walk to the strip in 5 mins. 

Atmosphere was great for young group of friends and spiros the bar manager at the pool bar in Agnes apartments made our holiday, he’s a good laugh and hilarious as a DJ, playing banging tunes all day. Lots of banter. 

Overall for what we paid it was awesome and had all we needed for a mad week in Kavos. 

Tips: if you are going to cook for yourself take some
Of your own food as the supermarkets are expensive and was annoying as felt a bit ripped off at times. 

Drinks are mostly €5 a pint of cocktails and the head f pints seriously do exactly that I had 4 and had to go home as was hammered haha. 

Don’t let reviews put you off it was good for what we went for a crazy mates holiday in Kavos. 

Day trips are expensive but get a quad or buggie for €40
For full day it’s worth it and fun to do, must have a driving licence. 

Places to eat out desperados on strip is amazing Mexican and the real Greek was great too!

Upon arrival of Agnes and Odysseus apartments with my 7 friends (female) my expectations were low after reading previous reviews. My aim is to give a fair and valid review for this adequate location in which my stay was enjoyable, to say the least. 
As an 18 year old who has just finished final exams for college, i was looking for a week away to relax and party with my friends and i got exactly that. What I feel people fail to understand is that you get what you pay for. 

To start, we arrived in the reception, where we checked in and were offered air conditioning (€60) and a safe (€20) for our stay. Both are a must. We were given keys and then were given an ‘overview’ by a TUI rep, Sydney, of our stay. It was clear from the start this was a ‘party’ hotel so those who have visited, and given a negative review were clearly in over their head. 
We booked our trips with an offered discount if we spent over a certain amount. Several things to choose; boat party’s, booze cruise, paint party and others. My only note here is that you need to be prepared to have cash upfront to pay for these things. Around €100-150. I was slightly shocked at first, but when it came to the trips we definitely got our moneys worth. 
To continue, Sydney acted as a helping hand telling us what to avoid on nights out, what he recommends and basically gave us some contingencies 

Now…the rooms. Either we got lucky or the negative images attached were fabricated by guests. In preparation for this I alongside another one of my friends brought our own bedsheet and pillowcase. Personally i’d recommend this as there is a chance of being charged if makeup stains were left on a bed, and I felt a bit more comfortable with my own sleeping arrangement. The beds are single sized, we had a dressing table, small shower, toilet, mirror, wardrobe, drawers, a fridge-freezer, microwave and a small selection of dishes and cutlery. Even a hairdryer. Basically all of the standard living requirements a group of teenagers need. I wouldn’t say I had any issues with the room at all. We sort of lived out of our suitcases for most of the holiday (out of pure laziness) and hung wet towels and swimwear on our personal balcony. 

The pool had sun beds, loungers and chairs we could all use any time of the day, the bar staff were polite and comedic at times. There was a small cafe included in the bar at a very reasonable price serving breakfast and lunch items, like toasties, club sandwiches etcetera. Also a shaded area for when the sun was too much to handle. I have read reviews stating the flooring is uneven and dangerous…It wasn’t. Just look where you are going. It doesn’t really take a genius to figure that out. 
There is a beach at the doorstep of the hotel, no white sand, clear sea, but that wasn’t what we had in mind. During the day time there was activities on there like inflatable courses, all at around €10-15. During the night you would see people taking beach walks or waiting for the sunrise, extra points for the beneficial location. 

The apartments in terms of location are a 5-10 minute walk to the strip, with eating places dotted about ranging from a quick Gyros to a lovely sit down meal depending on the vibe for each night. In my opinion, far enough to block out noise from the strip when wanting sleep, but close enough to walk to and from the clubs when had a few drinks. Not to mention the several shops with cheap bottles of vodka, breakfast multipack items, snacks, souvenirs and of course, enough fanta lemon a person could ever need. As we were self catering, we stocked up on these things for the majority of our stay. 

My friends and I found it easy to make friends at the hotel as the majority of guests were our age, once again proving this hotel is the ideal destination for a girls/boys holiday, rather than anything else. It was better for us to attach onto another party as it proved more useful for nights out in terms of safety, or just overall enjoyment of being in a bigger group. 

I had a blast every night, made memories and had a positive stay at Agnes, to the point where me and my friends were devastated to be leaving. I can confidently say I recommend this place to a group of teens who want the ideal ‘girls’ or ‘lads’ holiday.

Brilliant

I stayed at Agnes Beach with 3 girl friends. Realistically the price should be lower for many a reason I will go through. Though compared to other holidays it is extremely cheap, so I can’t really complain. We stayed for 10 nights peak season in kavos. For any couples/families/elderly people this is a PARTY HOLIDAY HOTEL. Everyone in the hotel was under 25 and up all hours (what me and my friends wanted so no complaints!) 

Positives 
- decent, cheap food at pool bar with cheap drinks and polite staff 
- alternate day room cleaning- towels and sheets refreshed, bins emptied beds made etc
- pool parties and lively atmosphere again maybe 3/7 days of the week 
- you could nearly jump into the sea from the pool, gorgeous view and clear sea water when you swim out a little 
- shower head was detachable, always had hot water 
- balconies/ terraces were lovely, plastic chairs on the terraces and nicer metal chairs on balconies (to avoid damage!) 
- TUI SCENE HOLIDAY BOOKINGS ONLY- reps warned about air conditioning and ‘kavos cough’ - to not going cooler than 24 degrees to avoid this, as well as avoiding certain drugs, scams, types of people etc which was helpful as we went in blind

Negatives 
- cleanliness was overall okay. I am a part time cleaner and it’s not how I would leave a room but there wasn’t too much visible dirt 
- pay for A/C on arrival. I believe we paid €80 ish for 10 days per room, adding this onto the room cost made this place far too expensive for the quality 
-A/C can’t be left on when you’re not in the room as the key to the A/C is attached to the room key which has to be taken with you as the doors lock behind you themselves (hope that makes sense!) given that you pay for A/C separately you’d think you would be able to use it as much as you like 
- the reception is over the road from the hotel and the women that ran it were English which was nice but were very to the point and frankly unfriendly
- I asked at reception for an extra towel and was basically interrogated on why I needed it when I already had one, I said it was for my hair. (I did get an extra, smaller towel which was refreshed on alternate days but i shouldn’t have to be quizzed on why I wanted it!)
- no safe in the room, another extra charge at reception
- pool was opaque the majority of our holiday because it was so dirty. Drinks and god knows what else often got spilled into it during party events so if you were in the pool apart from when it got cleaned at end of our stay, you wouldn’t be able to see your belly button 
- bar man/ owner very intimidating/scary- given his clientele I can understand this man’s attitude but it was rather unnerving seeing him around the pool and bar all day watching us youths enjoying ourselves 
- LIMITED/NO COOKING FACILITIES- I have added pictures of the ‘kitchen area’ I managed to cook plain pasta and I was scared for my life with the awful smelling electric stove that looked like it should be in a museum. We had about 2 dirty forks 1 cup and 1 plate per room. Safe to say we ate out every night 
- neighbours were charged €20 for broken plastic chair that can’t have cost more than €5 
- IF YOU BOOK WITH TUI SCENE HOLIDAYS- we arrived after a near 24 hour journey and were instantly sat down by young reps trying to sell us event tickets, we did purchase a couple but they were extremely expensive €50 average I would say per event. The reps were lovely but at the end of the day were there to take our money. They acted like our friends and our ‘kavos survival guides’ but they would happily sell us tickets to a €65 event that would have 7 people in it because tui scene was not the main party provider in kavos

Not awful for a party holiday

My boyfriend and myself were here from the 26th of August to the 2nd of September. We booked a package holiday with tui. We got what we paid for but didn’t expect rats to run across the apartment complex power lines. We were given fresh towels once and had to ask for new towels as we were given bath mats as towels. We were also given 1 toilet roll and had to buy our own after. The cleaners came 3 times and changed our sheets once. The cleaners walked into your apartment at any time. They charged us for Air Con, Safe and it was also an extra charge for the tv but we didn’t want the tv. The pool area was nice and so was the pool but the pool was never cleaned out and had sand at the bottom of it. The pool was literally 20 steps from beach. The staff were really friendly and nice. The food was really good.

You get what you paid for.

I enjoyed my time here. Close to the strip, 24 hour bar, clean enough. The staff were friendly. My electricity cut out once I let reception know they had someone out and was fixed within 2 hours. You can pay for air conditioning on arrival €35 a room for the week. If you have a 2 bedroom apartment you need to pay it for each bedroom. However, My shower leaked out the side which made showering very difficult and the beds were quite hard. Although, for the price it provided the basic essentials and is a perfect location to have a party week.

Great location, apartments could use a little TLC but worth the price

You get what you pay for when staying here. It’s a decent sized apartment for 4 people and the pool area is great with a bar with a good drinks selection and can always get a sun bed. Just a couple of minutes away from the beach too so a great location. We took the party package and went around the strip with the reps and groups of other people that left from this hotel which was lots of fun and enjoyed the boat party offered too. There’s a shop in reception and lots of food places nearby. Downsides are that with 4 people in an apartment the shower floods the bathroom which isn’t ideal. Towels also don’t get changed so make sure you pack extra. Mosquitos totally took over the room as well so pack bug spray or mosquito plugs cos you will get bitten all over. Overall it’s great for a party holiday with a group of friends and at a decent price but I wouldn’t come here as a couples or family holiday.

Great party holiday

Original room no more than a cell, you wouldn't put a dog in it. Moved twice the second move was a lot better but it took a while to get there. The Agnes pool bar and the barman made the holiday, he's a laugh a minute [sheep shaggers] apart from the dodgy TV. LOL. I would only ever go back to this place to see the said barman.
