Aris, the owner, greeted us at a nearby taverna, and gave us a little tour of the nice apartment with good sized living space, double bedroom, bathroom with good shower, 2 terraces to bedroom and living area, both overlooking the gardens and the good sized swimming pool, with south facing views across to the White Mountains. Kitchen area has fridge/freezer, 2 electric hobs, numerous appliances and a washing machine. We greatly enjoyed a relaxing 2 weeks, with quick access to the beach at Almyrida and tavernas nearby in Gavalohori or a short drive to villages of Vamos or Douliana. Chania only 40 minutes and well worth visiting for the sights, sounds and tastes. I would heartily recommend it!
