Apokoron Luxury Villas

What an amazing place to stay!! The villa was wonderful - plenty of space for our two families and the facilities were second to none, including both a family and lap pool, spacious and luxurious bedrooms and a veranda with a view to die for - the sunsets were spectacular! Mrs Froso popped in daily and was extremely attentive and great fun too - seeing to all of our requests with a minimum of fuss and ensuring that are our trip was memorable and that the apartment was spotlessly maintained. Gavalochori is a quiet and peaceful village, we loved it! there are 4 restaurants, a coffee shop and a couple of small supermarkets - I would particularly recommend Gavalianos Kafenes and Arismari to eat, both traditional Greek restaurants selling hearty, home prepared food. I have to make a special mention of the owner Christos, we missed our initial trip due to a flight cancellation (whilst we were actually on the plane!) and not only did he source us alternative accommodation a few weeks later he did not charge us for what in effect was an extra week - its not often you see such generosity and kindness these days and it was a much appreciated gesture by both of our families. Thank you Christos you are a gentleman! - we will be back!!
