Sunrise Beach Suites

Stayed here for 6 nights as part of an island hopping adventure starting in Syros. Hotel is located 7 to 10 minutes drive from Ermoupoli and a car is essential if staying here unless you want to rely on the taxis. We hired a car via the hotel and found it personally to be a must have in order to get to the beaches and Ermoupoli in the evening for dinner. The accomodation is arranged in multiple buildings on a hillside with the pool located at the top of the facility. The rooms all face out to the Aegean with great views of Tinos and Mykonos in the distance. Our room had a small kitchenette, sitting area, bedroom and bathroom, the latter of which was a little tired and could do with updating or upgrade. The accomodation was basic but perfectly functional for our needs and was cleaned daily. Clean linen and towels made available upon request of the maid service. Breakfast was basic but consisted of the key essentials to enjoy a day at the beautiful beaches close by. The pool area is huge with plentiful supply of sun beds and a pool bar should you need. However not sure the prices charged at the bar (6 euro for a beer and 5 for a Fanta) are going to attract much demand, we bought our own from a local supermarket and consumed them at the pool with no issues. Must recommend nearby beach such as Azolimnos, Galissas, Vari and especially Kini for a true beach experience befitting a beautiful island. Thanks to Konstantina and the other team members at the hotel for providing a great start to our island hopping adventure in the Greek islands. No hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.
