If you visit Karpathos for windsurfing in Meltemi the location is just perfect. The rooms are clean. There are various types of rooms so it is good to inquire upfront to book the room which would suit your needs best. The owners are fantastic and friendly people. Good to have a car if you want to explore the island or go for dinner to one of many local tavernas nearby. Though in Metlemi they now offer quite nice meals so it is absolutely doable not to leave the spot.
