Beautiful, comfortable, fabulous staff. The best stay we’ve had while traveling . Stunning views from our balcony. Can’t say enough . Breakfast was wonderful. 
Also helpful staff who are locals and able to give tips, directions and suggestions that you wouldn’t get from a web site . All around a great stay . 

How in the world, as I write this, could the Methexis possibly be ranked so low among lodgings in Dimitsana? Thankfully, other sites like booking.com are loaded with appropriately glowing reviews.

The large rooms, solid furnishings, full-body showers and beautiful views are just some of the features that make this a wonderful place to stay — and a remarkable value. It would be a top choice in any community of any size.

If you want to escape the tourist hordes and stay at a first-class hotel in an unspoiled medieval Greek village, this is an excellent option. We chose the Methexis as a relaxing antidote to three nights in bustling Athens; it is situated in a lovely village but close enough to access major attractions that include the Temple of Apollo at Bassae and the Mystras and Olympia Archaeological Sites. None of those drives are short, but the villages and scenery we passed along the way to and from Mystras were wonderful, and how else would you come across families returning their sheep herds for the evening? Certainly not on short drives on major roads. There are also some worthwhile attractions within a few miles of the hotel.

This was a close as it comes to a perfect stay. Again I say, this is a remarkable value, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We visited Methexis Boutique Hotel with my girlfriend during the last weekend of October 2019. Eleni, the owner, was very kind and helpful by providing us with information for the area regarding many activities such as hiking, traditional food and local happenings. Breakfast was very good and we even enjoyed it one morning in our room with the astonishing view of the mountains and nature around! Our room was luxurious, providing us with all amenities described. We would definitely book again when we visit the area!

we stayed in a deluxe room with mountain views, a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub.  the decor was traditional / rustic with all the modern conveniences.  There is a charming lounge for pre or post dinner drinks.  The inn is about 10 minutes walk from village center.  The breakfast is brought to the room and is wonderful: muffins and pastries, cheeses, meats, spreads, fruit.  enough food for 3 people (the leftovers make a wonderful  late afternoon snack!)

Very nice to stay. For the price of the rooms the price is considered very good. The couple in charge are very kind and help you in whatever you need. A little problem with the parking only if the boutique is full but you can find a parking space near bye. Breakfast very unique and modern which is brought to the room in a breakfast basket.

Lovely room, to which the friendly - and very helpful - staff (owners?) brings breakfast every morning. Although they have a bar, they are also happy to bring drinks to your room, which is a plus because of the amazing view! We definitely recommend the place.

Nice clean rooms located over amazing views of the losious river. Great spot for relaxing time and base for walking paths in the menalon area. Great hosts welcomed us during our stay which give us good reason come here again soon.

We visited the greater area of Arcadia just before New Year's Eve and we stayed at Methexis Boutique Hotel in the traditional and idyllic village of Dimitsana!

Great vacation at arcadia area, best atmosphere

We booked this hotel some weeks ago, with the reservation guaranteed by credit card. Now suddenly at 3 days notice the booking has been cancelled via booking.com agency. We Apparently because the hotel has decided to close until the end of August - high season? Whatever, this hotelier seems to be playing games so book to stay there at your peril.
We'll be checking if it's actually closed by the way as we pass by.
