We had a brilliant stay at Villa Maria!
As some people have mentioned, the villa is not right next to the sea but there is an easy bus to catch really close by and there are lots of Tavernas in walking distance (Flavor is amazing!)
There are also great pools nearby (try Mermaid) and you can swim in the sea from the Alcapolco bar- both very close.
The rooms were clean, the air con a god send and most importantly the owners were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful- we could not have met a better family. They helped arrange a taxi from the airport- far cheaper than we could have organised, and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to see.


We had apartment 5 which is located at the rear. This is great as it misses morning sun, afternoon sun that can be enjoyed on the quiet terrace area next to the apartment.  It is well equipped and very clean. It is cleaned a bedding changed ever couple of days.

You have a cooker, microwave, kettle and sandwich toaster and a table and chairs outside.  Good air con.

Maria, Spiros and all the staff are lovely, warm and friendly and will do anything to help you.

The location was good. 5 mins walk from Acapulco bar where you can swim in the sea, 10 mins from La Grotta, again you can swim from rocks but this is bit tricky so easier if you're good on your feet. Beaches can be accessed by a great bus service or car. We also discovered that we could swim in less than 5 minutes from Acapulco to the next beach. 

There are lots of restaurants to choose from on the main road and a good place for coffee right on the doorstep.

We stayed here for 1 night, the apartment was very clean, bathroom was spacy and free wi-fi. But as we arrived very late in the night we payed 50€ for 1 night, instead of 40€ which was the basic price for the room. We had the feeling that the owners took advantage of our situation (very late and with no hopes to find another room). Anyway, it's a very good place to stay!

Lovely villa with amazing owners

Very clean & pleasant

Lovely holiday in great apartment

Small villa not near the beaches of Paleokastritsa. You need to go there by car or scooter, or you take a bus that stops every hour close to the villa. Walking is dangerous (no sidewalks) Rooms are small with a very tiny kitchen and bathroom. Cleaning is done every other day. There is no TV. WiFi and airco work fine. Small supermarket with cash machine at 5 minutes walking. Staff is helpful and some of them speak English. We enjoyed our stay here; unfortunately a large group of noisy people moved into the rooms above us after 2 days, making our stay a bit less pleasant. I would recommend a room at the back side, so you get more shade.
