We just arrived back, after a 4 days short vacation at Mola Kalyva's coolest place! Our room was big, spacious and so cool that although outside it was 34 degrees, inside it felt as if the air condition was on! Vaggelis, the owner is very friendly and hospitable and was kind enough to offer us extra time in the room before our departure. We also enjoyed the lovely garden at the front. And a small tip. It's best to chose the ground floor rooms during the heat and prefer the 1st floor when it's not so hot.

What a fantastic place in a beautiful setting. Mola Kaliva is an ideal place if you want a relaxing break relaxing by the sea with great places to eat local food.

Maltinas Guest House has everything you need, spotlessly clean and the host Vangelis can't do enough for you. He's very friendly and welcoming.

The area itself has 2 small supermarkets where you can find anything you need, the local taverna across from the guest house serves the most amazing squid and octopus dishes a favorite of mine and my wife's and we ate there nearly every day of our stay.

This is definitely a place we will be coming back to again next time we need a relaxing break from the stresses of everyday life, and a final thank you to Vangelis for being a wonderful, friendly host :)

We had a very nice little stay at Maltinas House in Mola Kalyva. Walking distance to the beach, which was nice, but beware of the occassional sea urchine (bathing shoes advised), and several nice restaurants - the one one the other side of the road was great, but we chose the one close by at Villa Maria due to the fantastic sea view. The appartments were clean, functional and cosy and the service level was great for an appartment accomdation. Easy (and free and secure) parking nearby and always easy to find the manager when you had a question or wanted some tips for where to go and where to eat (manager was completely fluent in several languages, english among them - which is certainly not the norm in Greece so be ready for pointing at the menu when visiting the local restaurants :-)).

We spent almost 10 days here, everything was perfect. Studio is very clean and it is perfect place to stay with a kid. It is very quiet place, the best for your leave. The best thing here is owner, he has relation with guests just like they are his closest family, he is ready 24/7 to help you with all your needs. 

See you next year

Initially we were promised a room with two beds, but as we arrived, the owner gave us an apartment and that was a huge surprise for us and the kids.The apartment was very spacious and clean, a nice bathroom and a cosy kitchen. The distance to the beach was around 3 minutes, and the village has a lot of tavernas.

I can’t see the see. See view is very abstract. This is nothing.
Too much people around-here it is building to building.
Maltinas house don’t have private beach.
There are too much buildings and hotels between it and see.
Formally it is in center of the village. In fact it is near main road.
No parking places.
Inside room I want to cry.
Formally here it is the parking on the street. Unfortunately it was full! 
If want positive emotions-this is not right place!

Better than camping

The bed was not comfortable for me.
No parking facilities-too small street behind.
There’s no see view from the room.
I think they need to clean air conditioner-i had runny nose because of it.
I heard my neighbors all night!
