Amazing location, rooms & service- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! It was an utmost pleasure meeting Maria & her mother. Both were welcoming, warm & friendly. The service at Rio Grande was remarkable as Maria genuinely cares for her guests and goes that extra mile (i was not well one of the nights, she kindly gave me some chamomile tea & honey which really helped). Thank you :)

Maria and her mother Barbara are very welcoming and friendly. I have been coming back twice for 4 years, COVID-19  stopped a previous visit. I love the area, I have been coming to BENITSES since 1992.  Rio Grande is situated, minutes walk from the sea. They have a beautiful garden and  courtyard. Also there is a swimming pool next door that you can use As long as you purchase a beer or something to eat. 5 minutes walk from BENITSES centre and only minutes walk from restaurants and bars like Varvaras Restaurant and Barbayannis restaurant to name but two. If you like walking there are marvellous walks. Rio Grande is kept very clean. I recommend a stay without hesitation. 

We recommend Rio Grande. The cleanliness and attention of the guests for the guest are amazing, meets the highest standards and requirements. In this place you receive much more than you pay and it is a perfect choice for a successful holiday.  Thank you Maria and Mrs. Barbara, everything was perfect! One of the best places In Corfu, Benitses. Clean and quiet  rooms. Located  close to beach, excellent service. Very friendly household, good price. I would advice thrse rooms for short or long stay in Corfu

Clean rooms decorated in a good taste, beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony and close to the beach and to the restaurants. Oh, and the rooms are well-equipped, you can find anything you need for your stay! The host, Maria is incredible, she is like a really good friend, she always greeted us with a big smile, helped whenever we needed and always gave us some hints to helps us make the best out of our journey! Wouldn’t choose any other hotel than Rio Grande!

Lovely room with spectacular view.  Extremely clean professional service from Maria especially in view of the covid situation.   I travelled alone and found her person centred service, help and advice so reassuring which  allowed me to totally relax and have a fabulous holiday.  An extremely lovely, friendly and professional place to stay.  I am definitely going back.

Great location in Benitses, very close to the beach, supermarket and other shops, excellent tavernas, bus station to Corfu town. Maria, the owner, is a wonderful person, very helpful, she will give you all the information you need in order to have an excellent holiday. Our room was at the first floor, with balcony and AC free of charge. In the room you can find also a kettle, cups and glasses, fridge and TV. Cleaning was made every day, the towels were changed every 4 days and the bed sheets once a week.

We took a room for three and it was very comfortable and clean. Maria and Barbara are great and very helpful. Rio Grande is really close to beach and there is great pool close which you can use as well. Rooms are cleaned regularly and wifi is great. It's far enough from the main road so it's very quite and you don't hear traffic noise from the street. The beach is 1 minute away from accommodation. 
Benitses is on a very good location relative to the rest of the Corfu island and it's well connected with frequent bus lines driving to the main town. There are many good tavernas, we tried few of them and the food is great and at an affordable price. All people here are very friendly! 
We would definitely return next year and it was overall a great stay!

Service was second to none, Maria and her mum made us feel so welcome, the room was spotless with a fridge and air conditioning, really good internet. Pool with bar and restaurant next door, close to all the middle of town and beaches. Wonderful stay

I really can't speak highly enough of the Rio Grande, Benitses, Corfu and of the wonderful Maria and her mum Barbara.
Nothing was too much trouble and you never have to worry about a thing from the moment you arrive.
The room was spotlessly clean and the shower/toilet room immaculate with clean towels and bedding all the time.
Situated in a peaceful, quiet little complex right next to a lovely swimming pool who welcome all visitors with open arms. A real breakfast laid out every morning and service second to none. The apartment block is situated away from the main road so if your looking for peace and relaxation but still within walking distance of the beach and night life.
Value for money, "Unbeatable".

I believe that choosing accommodation can make or break a holiday. I am happy to say that choosing the Rio Grande for my stay, made mine. Yes it was clean and quiet, the latter which surprised me, considering it's close proximity to the beach and yes, for the price of a drink, you have access to a very nice swimming pool, but what impressed me most, was the friendliness of the owner and her mother and the genuine welcome I  received. I like people who are genuine and Maria and her mother, Barbara, couldn't be more so. They care that their guests have a pleasant, memorable stay and take pride in what they do. What more could anyone hope for in a host. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay !

Maria & Barbara (mother and daughter team) run this lovely little guest house which is on a quiet side road about 5 mins walk from the beach.
The rooms are spotless, and Maria gos out of her way to welcome you.
I am staying for the second time this month, as I needed somewhere to stay after a sailing trip. No hesitation to come back and stay at Rio Grande.
The hotel opposite, just 1 min walk, has a pool which is available for use, so long as you buy a drink or snack from the pool bar. Very nice surroundings and sunbeds available.
I hope I can come back and stay at this little gem.
