NYX Esperia Palace Hotel Athens

We have been here twice and love NYX . The first visit was when it first opened and we leave today after two nights with our boys (aged 22,20 and 16). The hotel is beautifully maintained with reasonably sized rooms . We had an exec room and a triple. The hotel is modern / trendy and fun not taking itself too seriously. Rooms are well considered with beautiful bathrooms and fittings and a superb shower. There is a rooftop pool which is well organised with booksble timed slots. Again great staff and comfy modern loungers / chairs. What is clear is that the hotel has been well thought-out but even more importantly the staff are highly trained polite and warm. Particularly Evita who was kind, warm and helpful always smiling. Even at the breakfast which is a bit mad - advise go early - the staff are helpful and never moody. They seem happy and always willing to help. At reception the staff are helpful and organised and even let us stay in one of our rooms a couple of hours after check in time. The spa is very swish! Again helpful and pleasant staff with great amenities. The food we had was generally a high standard. Breakfast is good but the coffee is lousy especially at breakfast. I hate machine coffee and even the coffee they Brought us were poor. So the hotel needs to work on this.also remove the robot with the sweets - looks bad. Otherwise top marks and thanks for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back.
