Hotel Rena

It was great to stay in Studio Rena. The view is stunning and the host was very friendly and helpful. We will come again soon. The whole island is great and very calm, perfect to relax. Fourni is perfect also with kids I think.

we stayed in this hotel in july - peak season - for only 30 euro's per room per night - unbelievable value!! the rooms are quite small but are well equipped with a small balcony and a/c at no extra charge. the room was immaculate with fresh white linen on the beds. it is a very quiet area but a few minutes walk and you have mini-markets and a few good restaurants. there is an excellent bus service into the main town - where the ferry arrives/leaves from. most people staying in therma seem to be there to take advantage of the thermal waters - there is a small bay for swimming. lovely courtyard out the front to relax in and meet fellow guests - we met a couple who had been coming back to this hotel for 28 years!! nice friendly relaxed atmosphere!! free wifi but we were unable to get it in our room.

I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights ,it is a cheap hotel with perfect staff.it is in a nice street with a lot of hotels. They were cleaning the room every day and new sheets and towels! the region therma it very very beautiful and i prefered to stay at nights there and not in the capital city of ikaria! it not a luxury hotel but there were all the apropriate facilities like warm water clen rooms and good staff so i would stay again! value for money especially if you are student :)

Great View on Kampi Beach and very nice host

Old building and furniture , with air condition and roof  fan, old 14 inch tv, refrigerator. Clean with the nice yard. The annoying thing was that it was owned by elderly people and they are not familiar with technology so when a problem appeared from our booking through booking.com they couldn't handle it and where impolite. Best advise pay in cash and everything will be ok. It was value for money. There's a nice yard in the front.

Old but decent

We booked a room for the night. Upon arrival we were told there was a problem with the room and we were being moved to another hotel which was awful. We were offered no explanation and no attempt to contact us prior to our arrival. Next day we couldn't find anyone in other hotel to pay when we checked out because it was early. We went back to hotel Rena and woke up the woman from previous day to pay her and leave key. I left note and email with other hotel to explain which they acknowledged. On our return home I had a message from booking.com saying we were a no show at Rena and cancelled.I contacted booking.com and was told Rena apparently waived the fee. But I'd paid!  So she has our money for a room we didn't stay in and as the other hotel was a dump and we didn't even ask to go there, they broken Greek law with regards to service not received despite being paid for. Also no receipt given
