Studios Antiparos Beach

The first thing to know when booking here is that Maria is such a wonderful host. She very kindly collected us from the port and even drove our luggage back for us to meet our departing ferry. Although the property is self catering, when I asked Maria what the options were for breakfast she very kindly made us some eggs and ham and cheese toasties which we enjoyed on our terrace with spectacular views of the bay and Despotiko island opposite. We had a spacious room (number 4, studio superior) with lots of cute windows, plenty of storage space and a nice little kitchenette which can be hidden away by large cupboard doors. The entire place is IMMACULATELY clean (and I have high standards)!! It’s a little way from the main town (about 11 kms), which is a plus as you’re out of the bustley tourist route, and there are a few wonderful spots within a minute’s walk from the property; waterfront cafes and seafood eateries that are very chilled, serving fresh local food. Would recommend renting a scooter (the roads - or rather road, singular - are in excellent condition) to hop around the tiny island. For us this was the absolute best place to stay, a little away from the main town, with amazing comfort, and a great host. You’ll feel more like a local here than a tourist on a day trip!
