Lakis Studios

Our second visit to Lesvos, but first to Anaxos. >Arrived in Anaxos around 2pm and was dropped off at the top of the lane. Lakis was there to meet us and showed us to our room, helping us with our luggage. Its just a minute or two walk. >We had room 5 at the back of the hotel, which looked over Lakis's vegetable garden with mountains in the distance. It was beautifully peaceful, with hens scratching around and kittens playing. >The room was small with a double bed, a tiny kitchen area with a 2 ring hob, kettle and sink. There was cutlery and crockery for two, glasses and a couple of saucepans. We didn't cook or eat in the room, so the lack of space wasn't a problem for us. >Room was kept clean, beds and towels changed regularly. Bed was very firm, but we got used to it and slept well. >AC worked well, and costs extra. >Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. >Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and shades, no sunbed wars here! >Lakis makes a great Harvey Wallbanger and an even better Pina Colada, and the food is very good, I'm missing his Greek Salads, and he would often sit and chat with us before taking our order. >The beach is just a few minutes walk down the lane, and sunbeds are free if you eat/drink at their taverna. >If you're after a peaceful relaxing no frills traditional Greek holiday Lakis Studios are the perfect base.
