Somewhere nice is fantastic. A really, really excellent hostel.The layout of the rooms and communal areas was great. Lots of space, good, wide ranging internet, airy rooms, good facilities.The success of good design and aesthetic is that it facilitates the community within. Everyone was so happy and gregarious, everyday friendships were formed and forged and expanded upon. The breakfast is incredible. So much fresh fruit, fresh baked bread, pancakes, eggs, porridge,  nice coffee. The breakfast staff are wonderful. They always checking ones needs and are happy and singing with beautiful voices.I guess the most wonderful aspect are the staff. They are fantastic. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, great conversationalists and caring to a fault. Whilst i stayed a lovely young man had a bad bout of malaria and the staff helped him to the hospital,  took him food and sat by him. I was really moved by this. I have worked in this industry for over 20 years and struggle to remember such acumen, professionalism and kindness.Like many i extended my stay and will return after further peregrination within the country.

This hostel is not cheap but is actually very good for a hostel of this sort in Accra, and had the added bonus that even though it didn't say we had booked a breakfast, everyone got a complimentary breakfast, and reasonably decent at that.

Genuinely can't say enough good things about somewhere nice. They handled a really horrible interaction with some guests extremely well, focusing on the victim, and took everything very seriously. 

Their friendliness exemplified all of the best parts of Ghanaian culture, as well as just human beings. The spaces were beautiful, the other travelers were equally as wonderful to hang out with, and the staff were kind and so easy to connect with. The breakfasts: out of this world. The pool: really nice. Best pillows I had in Ghana.

Can't say enough good things about somewhere nice. <3

So my stay at Somewhere nice, was not just nice, it was incredible. From the moment you step away from the busy streets of Accra, you feel at home. The garden is beautiful and truly a place to relax after a long day. Every meal I ate there was delicious, and so were the drinks (hey, Chi Chi!). The staff was really helpful with all our problems and always solved everything for us. So all I can say is medaasi, it was a pleasure to stay with you. I hope to see you again one day. 

Somewhere nice is an understatement!

The place is safe and nice amentities. Very loud and beds are not comfortable. They want you out early at 11 am or you pay. They have a great breakfast and now you can also pay for lunch and dinner. Wifi in rooms is terrible but you can air outside and use it. But you need big spray. The rooms are good size for a hostel. Private rooms

This place is wonderful - a cool, calm enclave in the centre of Accra. The staff are excellent (shout out to Chinyere and his excellent cocktails!), the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the pool is great. A wonderful place to land and get your bearings. Thank you!

These are great people that run this fantastic establishment. Everyone is kind and friendly and always happy to help. The pool is a great place to relax. The double room we stayed in was great. The bed was so big! Located in an area that is easy to get to anywhere you need to go in Accra.

Fantastic place to stay. 

This hostel was an absolute delight and homely environment for me as a solo traveller during two months travelling in Ghana. I was in Accra three several times over that two months (on one occasion for several weeks), and always chose 'somewhere nice' because of its exceptional services, utilities, and - above all - remarkable staff.

Every member of the staff was approachable and happy to create connections with guests, particularly the returners or long-stayers like myself.  The breakfast is generous and all the kitchen staff go above and beyond to give guests eggs to their desire on top of the bountiful fruit and pancakes available. If you can, try their French toast! The bartender creates a welcoming and fun environment in the evenings by the poolside. When I had problems, the staff ensured I had help, including offering to photocopy documents.

The area the hostel is found in is equally a treat. Across the road each night, people from the neighbourhood gather to watch football on two screens mounted to a noodles vendor. The energy is fantastic, and everyone was welcoming to newcomers eager to join in.

I cannot recommend 'somewhere nice' enough!

Nice natural environment. Great for relaxing and escaping the busy city noise

Unfortunately one of a kind in Accra. 
Unfortunately because they have increased the prices, paying around 280cedi for a bed in the female 8-beds-dorm, including breakfast. 
The breakfast is pretty good, including fruits, coffee, pancakes and eggs. 
There is a pool area to relax, which is rare to find in Accra. 
The dorm is clean and bright. There are fans, as well as A/C and boxes to lock your stuff. 
The staff is very friendly and helpful. 
For food there is one good restaurant around but for everything else you will have to take a taxi.
