15 reviewsOriginally booked this hotel since the name means palace courtyard but upon arrival, no palace around since 1743. Wasn't disappointed however while service and room at his old Inn was perfect. My room was at the backside of the building and cool, modernly styled and had a super breakfast. Sat outdoors for Supper and my schnitzel I ordered was slightly burned on the bottom side, however eatable. When I showed the blackened side to the waitress I received a free 1/2 liter beer and a hops schnapps so it was fine. The hotel is located in the beer hops growing region of Bavaria. I stayed there again last Winter. My partner and I phoned them to inform them that we would be arriving 20 minutes after their restaurant was to close due to traffic. They were GREAT and stayed open just for us. The dinner was this time splendid and I took care of them well for staying open. My room this time was a disappointment. I was at the corner room facing the main street. In the morning, the street was loud, the hotel heating system was loud and located behind my room and going off throughout the night. It was a large room with an LED TV the size of a laptop that you couldn't really see15 feet away from the bed pillows and there was a metal posted bed where my feet and arms were trapped, sticking though the bars. Breakfast was good as usual. One thing kind of funny and creepy. There are really nice and very pretty Eastern European girls working at the restaurant and hotel. When we had dinner there that evening there were a few lonely farmers sitting at the bar and tables, nursing one beer and staring, eyes glued at the women non-stop, not saying a word. I asked the girls upon paying for the meals about them and they said there every night there doing the same thing. The girls leave work as a group and never alone. Weird lonely hearts club.
