Hotel in den Herrnwiesen

I had to stay in Wertheim for a month while my mother recovered from a fall while on holiday. The owners, Frank and Lina Selg, could not have been more helpful. What a lovely, genuinely friendly couple. They gave dad and I an open booking on our rooms with no penalties and at an excellent rate. The staff who work at the hotel are equally friendly and keen to please. The rooms themselves were excellent: wonderfully comfortable beds, clean, nicely furnished and with good facilities. It impressed me that the hotel was very German in its 'feel', but it had all the amenities I have come to expect as an international traveller. It is modern with lots of personal touches. The breakfast buffet was excellent each morning. The variety was good. You can sit in the small dining room or outside on the beautiful secluded terrace garden. There is a small lounge area, too. Thoroughly recommended.
