Hotel Heuberger Hof, Wehingen

The previous person reviewed in 2016 and I believe since then the Heuberger Hof has made a lot of progress. Work is still in progress (they are still renovating the place) but when it comes to our room it was really new. Now, I booked this place as we went to the Bang Your Head Festival in Balingen so we did not need anything fancy. Nevertheless, we did not want to stay in a kip either so this place was perfect. Obviously my experience was a bit impacted by the fact that I went there with 2 buddies of mine and we shared the room. The shower well it is not separated from the room so when either one of us took a shower you would show it all but obviously, we were not interested to look anyway. Having 2 buddies that are current world champions in snoring did not improve things. However, going back to the Hotel: we did not see any staff (we got the key through the automatic dispenser outside) until we went for breakfast. And they were lovely, the breakfast room is so cozy and the smiles of the staff taking care of us made - as it always does - a big difference. In particular on the last day before leaving we had a super nice young lady serving us our coffee and doing the check out. I do not remember her name but she was fantastic. So considering the price paid and the overall experience I have no issue in giving it 5 points. And for once I may go back to a hotel as the Bang Your Head Festival 2018 has already been booked!
