Zur Kupferkanne

Having stayed many times in various smaller hotels and apartments along the Mosel our experience of this hotel was a very positive one . Considering the reasonable price and convenient location in walking distance to the main square, trains and Mosel, fairly private parking, a lovely 'beer' garden, which is nice for breakfast too, I would return to the Kupferkanne. The rooms are traditional but all was clean with a well functioning bathroom and the typical German breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff couldn't be more helpful, each morning ask whether we have further wishes for breakfast, discussed the best walking routes, lent us a rucksack and maps, brought more water to the room etc . I can only recommend this place ( who would expect a lift in a 'Landgasthaus'?
