My brother and I arrived at the hotel tired from our bike tour. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful to us storing our bikes, and directed us to a good bar/restaurant for that evening, and gave us a city plan map and drew a suggested route to see all of the sights in Koblenz. The room was big and the beds extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was large and very good value. I was disappointed when I saw the low trip advisor score and feel the owners deserve better. If you want luxury, pay for it. If you want somewhere comfortable and good value to stay with great hosts who have a laugh and a joke, this hotel is perfect. It was perfect for us cycling the Rhine cycling route, but I think it would be good for a family too.
