The hotel is located in the center of the small and cozy town of Waldkirch. It is time for the hotel to make repairs, but it is popular with the locals. On weekends and holidays it is difficult to book the hotel. It stopped a second time with the hope of getting a repeat pleasant service. The last time was in 2017. It failed. The hotel really goes to forgetfulness and ignoring changes in the hotel services market. Cold rooms. It was time to turn the valve on the heating batteries at night.

You can't go in the same river twice.

Rooms were basic, but they had everything we needed and they were clean. Breakfast was delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I liked the little basement bar, very cute. The location is very convenient. Everything in Waldkirch is in walking distance and Freiburg is only a short train ride away. I would definitely recommend staying here

Great hotel, convenient location.

The atmosfere of the hotel is very good. Breakfast also was nice and warm service.The distance from the train station is a little bit far but not so long, maybe 15 minutes.So the area is carm. I will take the hotel again at the next time.

We were in the Scheffelhof to start and finish our walking tour from there. It seemed somewhat unpleasant at first glance, which was immediately refuted by the very friendly staff. The rooms were also large and clean, the furniture was perhaps somewhat decorated, but not shabby. Our dogs were also welcome. We were allowed to park our car for free during our five-day walking tour of the inner courtyard, and it was only a few minutes on foot to the market square with numerous cafes and restaurants. The breakfast also did not cause any objection.

Much better than the first impression.

I spent a year as a business traveler in Scheffelhof and always appreciated the open-air nature there. They also made me special breakfast bags and were always very friendly.

Great atmosphere with deer brow

Family hotel, more beautiful in photos than in reality. No elevator. Large room, some furniture in poor condition. Right breakfast, very nice person to serve. Easy parking on the street.

Normalito is the norm.

The rooms are clean and relatively large. The fact that there are cabinets and other furniture that look somewhat comfortable can be criticized. You can also accept it and rejoice in an affordable hotel. The breakfast service is family friendly and extremely friendly. Overall, we felt very comfortable here for two weeks!

Better than expected!

On my short stay here I had no complaints. The room was clean, the personal, friendly and helpful. The hotel was modern renovated. The one deficit was that were only 5 parking places behind the hotel where one could park at night.

Everything OK

The hotel was also chosen by other participants of the event. I stayed in a non-smoking double-bedroom No.45 in the 2.Stock, which looked freshly renovated and flawless. There is no wheelchair access. The room is equipped with 1 double-bed (for one of the two beds only the head cushion and the ceiling included). Quiet overnight in a newly renovated, cozy little town hotel.

Clean, basic room. Great breakfast and the most friendly, helpful staff. On a classic car tour with 7 classic cars and when we arrived completely moved car park and seating around to accommodate all our cars. Although a fairly basic hotel the staff couldn't do enough to help us.
