Nice rooms with a lot of space and friendly staff. Everything is very, very clean. The hotel is really close to the inner city and in walking distance of most attractions. As it is also a recidenz for elderly they have extra corona regulations (August 2022).

This is one of the neatest places to stay.  The rooms are spacious and so clean.  breakfast was very good.  It was nice to see the people that lived there,  part of it is an assisted living facility for the elderly. They seemed to enjoy us speaking to them.  Excellent location, you walk across about 2 streets and you will be at the mall, then walk through the mall and you are in the center of Trier.

We spent 2 nights here.  The apartment style room was spacious and comfortable.   The building and grounds were very nice.   It’s just a short walk to the main square in Trier.  Washer & dryer available in the basement for €3.  Staff was friendly and helpful.  We would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Modern, friendly and in an excellent location, we enjoyed a large modern and very comfortable  apartment close to the centre of Trier. Although this very large complex is mainly for retirees, the hotel section is separate. Excellent breakfasts and we wouldn't have minded retiring to this excellent development with its library, sauna, restaurant and other amentities. This stay was also excellent value for money. If you want to stay in Trier, this is well worth considering. 

this 'hotel' rents extra rooms in this retirement center. it is a great idea! the rooms are like small apartments with a living room, terrace, dinette, kitchenette with a separate bedroom. the rooms are ultra clean and comfortable. it is a quiet place, but still very convenient to everything that central trier has to offer. breakfast was terrific!

Stayed here for 3 days in September, 2017 as part of a Rick Steve’s Tour group.  Interesting hotel in that the hotel is part of a retirement home.  It seems the two operations are kept somewhat separated.  However, since it is part of a retirement home, the hotel guest rooms are actually small apartments with a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom.  In any event, the hotel staff were helpful, the rooms clean and well maintained, there is an outside courtyard with tables for sitting, the breakfast was fine (don’t think hospital food here, this was definitely pretty high end restaurant quality!).  The location is good, less than a 5 minute stroll to the central pedestrian area of Trier.  So all in all, a bit unusual (only as we weren’t necessarily expecting it) but it works fine and was certainly of a quality level equal to (and better than some) of the other hotels we stayed in later on the trip.

We booked here after reading lots of positive reviews, we leave disappointed and we would not return to this accommodation. If possible I d rate this a 2.5 if we could but feel a 2 would be too harsh as the place is quite functional.

Room 163 noises all night from pipes/plumbing noises
Could hear people having conversations from around 3:30 am onwards, we think we were above the kitchen.  When we did finally go back to sleep someone pushed the apt doorbell at 5:45am!  Also we  could hear cutlery banging during the day as though someone was drying it & throwing it into a draw.  
Rooms very sparsely furnished with no personality at all but a very generous size.  The beds were not particularly comfortable and one squeaked whenever you moved.  
Although advertised as apartment with cooking facilities if you wish to cook you have to pay more for kitchen implements (see photo below)
We had problems getting fresh towels. On the 2nd day of being there whoever serviced the apt left us 4 bath mats but nothing else.  When we tried reception they couldn’t understand “towels” and on going down there to physically get them they could only supply 3 hand towels.  Really frustrating after a very hot day of tourism to not be able to have a shower & relax. 
We thought washing machine was in the apartment but you have to use a basement laundry & costs 3€ per load + detergent.  Dryer is free
