240 reviewsMy wife and I had the privilege of staying at Hotel Weingut Weis. As the saying goes, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. The first impression was excellent. We were greeted at reception very professionally, and the registering was very quick and efficient. We were then shown to the lift, with instructions of how to get to our room. The room was outstanding. My wife has mobility issue and the room was ideal for her condition. At night, for safety reasons, she uses a walker. The bathroom was very spacious, so she had no problems maneuvering. The bed was very comfortable, and there was sufficient storage space. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, there was definitely something there for everyone. We were visiting friends in Mertesdorf, and they invited us to dinner at the hotel. The waitstaff were very professional and attentive, and the dinner was excellent, and the wine was also excellent. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel, and when we visit our friends again we will definitely stay there.
