347 reviewsVery nice hotel in a great location, close to the Porta Nigra and city centre just a few minutes walk away. It was easy to find and parking was easy to get in to. Plenty of parking spaces as well. We received a warm welcome and were able to check in right away. Our room was overlooking the main road which was noisy with the windows open. It was also very hot when we stayed here but sadly there was no air con. There was a fan in the room but it was that hot, the fan didn’t make much difference. The room was large and clean, same with the bathroom. The bed was comfy but the pillow was a bit soft and I normally sleep on 3 pillows so I rolled my duvet up and put it under the pillow. I didn’t need the duvet due to the heat so why not, it worked and I got a good nights sleep. The shower was lovely with great water pressure. Breakfast was very good with everything you needed and the staff kept everything topped up. I was sorry we didn’t stay here longer but we have said we will go back when we can spend a couple of days there to explore the area more. Hopefully it won’t be as hot next time. I did find Woolworths in the city centre and couldn’t resist shopping in there which meant we then had to walk back to the hotel with all the shopping I purchased. The cathedral was a lovely place to visit as well. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the city centre to choose from. They had a big music festival on in the centre but we was leaving the day it started sadly and missed it. So overall a great place to stay.
