20 reviewsIf you are looking for a true B&B experience in the Black Forest, this is the place. Beautiful home and rooms -- just 3 minutes from Triberg, but right on the edge of the forest. The breakfast is worth photographing as a work of culinary art. However, the best part of the experience is visiting with the inn keeper, who brought his young and extremely charming grand-daughter in to help with breakfast. The room was lovely (#3) and we'll never stay anywhere else in the Triberg area. I'd give it 6 stars if the Tripadvisor allowed; and the price is 50% lower than it should be! Hint: it's easy to drive past the driveway up to the Gastehaus, especially at night, as the sign to the Gasthaus is not lighted. Watch carefully on the right side of the road just 0.3 miles after making the turn to Schonach.
