AKZENT Parkhotel Trebbin

A hotel with great staff, ready to help, always friendly and cheerful, efficient all ways. Facilities are adequate and clean. A surprise to pay for Internet these days at 5 Euros a day. I was told this is changing in the new year. Breakfast was excellent, evening meal was both good and mediocre; steak was outstanding spoilt by cheap fries for example. Flammkuche and schnitzel are both good. Beer was as always in Germany excellent. Rooms were a good size and exceptionally clean. I arrived in Trebbin by train from Berlin, it is a deceptive first impression; Pass the station on the right and take the left road ParkStrabe, initially graffitti and run down building with crumbling pavement. This changes rapidly into suburbia, keep going 400m on the left hand side before a park is the hotel. There is no night porter so notify if arriving late. dinner stops at 9pm but I called ahead and they kept the chef there until I arrived at 9:30. As I said an excellent attitude from everybody there.
