Booked this hotel by chance as close to the village we were visiting. We received a very warm welcome. The room was clean and fresh with an ensuite with shower. Breakfast included cereal, bacon, eggs, fresh meats, fruit and fish (salmon, roll mop, and baby shrimp), delicious. The restaurant opened until 2100, I believe it is later in peak season. They served a variety of dishes including a lot of fish which was cooked to perfection, meat/steaks if you are not into fresh fish. The owners and their staff were friendly and helpful as my German is practically non-existent, their English is better. There is free wifi in every room and free parking at the rear of the hotel. There is also a pool, sauna and steam room, looked great but unfortunately we did not have the time to partake. The hotel overlooks a canal/inlet and is close to the main square where other restaurants/bars are available. There are lots of sign posted walks. There is also a fabulous aquarium a short distance away. The hotel is not far from the A23/B5 and is ideal for a base if you are travelling around. Highly recommended.
