This castle hotel is for people who love peaceful places, bicycling & walking in the countryside and amazing food! We had a room in a main building - a very big room indeed with a huge terrace, a white marble bathroom and a wooden floor. The river Elbe is flowing in the other side of the main building and the castle is surrounded by a big park. The best part though was the restaurant with a great staff. Some of them did not speak well English but they did their best that we felt ourselves as special guests. The food was amazing - not normal amazing - but really amazing! Every mouthful was a joy. The chef would meet any high standards anywhere! We stayed only one night. It is maybe good to know that when leaving it is possible to extend the stay by an hour or several hours but you will be charged for them.
