Hotel Vi Vintage Stuttgart

Due to Oktoberfest (Bierfest) all the hotels in Stuttgart were full. Found this via Booking.com. It also seems to have the name "Hotel Garni" The hotel is located out of town. Needs about 20 minutes on the U-bahn (metro) (Line U6 and U13) from downtown Hauptbahnhof (Main train station). The hotel is in a quiet residential area. Very good for a quiet night of sleep. There are some shops next to the hotel (supermarket, butcher, flower shop, two small bars, and a pizza/kebab shop). The hotel is very standard German-style B&B. Clean bedroom & clean shower. Standard breakfast (cereal, yoghurt, cheese, ham, bread rolls, honey, tea, coffee, fruit juice). Don't expect a 5-star hotel and you will not be disappointed. To access the hotel, you need to go upstairs (not on the groundfloor). If you arrive late (after reception is closed), your key will be left in a "digital safebox" outside the main entrance. Enter the secret code, get your key, and enter the hotel. All-in-all, not a bad B&B. Just depends if the location is suitable for you.
