This hotel is located about 5 km from Schwerte Train Station, for the purpose of my visit a much more convenient location that central Schwerte. The inhouse-restaurant was closed but an excellent Chinese restaurant is located only about 5 minutes walk away. My room was basic with a tiled floor (coldish feet in March) but the heating worked excellently and my feet warmed up rapidly. The excellent hotel breakfast is not included in the room rate but with 5 Euros can be considered a steal. Neither a coffee-maker nor a fridge were provided in the room, but the hallway contained a wine-fridge, which served well to keep the yogurt cold. The personnel handling breakfast and reception desk was efficient and very friendly. Overall, highly recommended !
