Parkhotel Schwarzenberg

Out of all the German hotels and B&B we stayed in while visiting, the Parkhotel is the nicest with the reference being in room 5. Our stay in Schwarzenberg was for four nights. The room’s view was extraordinaire, as if you were looking out into a train garden. And when nightfall came, all of the street lights along with the houses were magical. It was an emotional view. A balcony exists with a table and 2 chairs for relaxing. The bathroom was beautiful with a really nice sized shower, one where you don’t hit the walls or accidentally hit the water controls to turn off the cold! The buffet for breakfast was very nice with an offering of tea or coffee along with the juices. There was wonderful breads and scrambled eggs. In town, we found a nice coffee cafe in the old section called “Kaffee Träume”. Also a short 30 minute drive to Cranzahl is the starting point for the excursion train ride to Kurort Oberwiesenthal.
