This 'hotel' was booked on line for an overnight stay and appeared to have all the facilities a traveller would need. However when I arrived there was a sign on the door saying that the place was closed, but a man who appeared to be a caretaker appeared and took me round the rear of the premises and in through a back door that appeared to be a staff entrance.
The hotel was indeed closed and all the public rooms were locked, but I was shown to a room which had a clean bed and an ensuite shower room, but that is where the good points end. There was only 1 towel in the room which was the size of a large handkerchief and the man had disappeared and did not reappear even when I left the following morning.
The place advertised a restaurant and bar, these were closed and so I had to walk for about 15 mins to find an evening meal. There were no facilities for breakfast, no facilities to make tea or coffee, no access to drinking water. No means of accessing the so called free wifi which required an access code which was not displayed anywhere and no one to ask. The television in the room was at least 30 years old, the screen was about 17" and the remote control did not work.
As the place was deserted and all the public rooms closed I gained the impression that the caretaker was scamming the owners of the property and trying to make money on the side.
