They rarely answer the telephone, and sometimes took more than a day to call back.  Email responses sometimes took over a week.  In person there was often no one at the reception who was competent to help with basic hotel questions.  When they did show up or answer, they were friendly and helpful.

The prices are extremely high for the location, more than twice what one would pay for a room in the nearby town.

They did not make up the rooms.  They said that I could exchange towels at the reception.  There was a safe in the room, but a key for the safe was not available until the second day of my stay.  During my stay I saw police in the lobby taking information about a possible burglary in the hotel (not from a guest room).  In advance I asked for a refrigerator in the room.  It was there, plugged in, but not working.  The room was properly equipped, large enough, and quiet.  The bed was comfortable, and there was a balcony.

The food had very little protein and often at lunch and dinner I couldn't see any real protein sources.  The whirlpool (hot tub) was not working.  The main seminar room has windows on only one side, making for difficult lighting conditions.  They offer a shuttle service to a railway station (45 minutes drive) .. but there is a railway station (Waldmunchen) which is closer.  They had incorrect information about that station, and the resulting confusion caused a two hour delay in my departure.

At other well established intentional communities there is more immediate presence of nature, in the form of green plants, for example along the pathways between buildings.  Here, however, the way between buildings is a parking lot.  This place has no special relationship to nature, so the name is misleading.  
 

Low service, high prices

In the internet the hotel seems to be a very nice hotel for recreation and some spa. When checking the spa you will realize that this area need intense renovation. Additionally the rooms are very basic, and the hotel itself is much to big for the few guests.

Big difference between Advertisment (Internet) and reality

Amazing and beautiful big hotel in very nice location. Very well equipped with soooo many oppotunities and possibilities. Unfortunately, this grandiose building is running by "nature community". Very nice people, with no idea how to properly run such facilities. No room services, no restaurant, neither bar nor any shop, I am here one week and nobody bother to check if room need to clean, change towels, empty bin... and so on.
I guess pool, sauna and other things also doesn't work, as it require big amount of work and money to take care and run. It have wi-fi available, but signal is so weak, it's available only in main lobby. No signal in rooms at all. No TV, radio equipment century old.
Sad story, indeed.
In proper hands it would be amazing prosperous facility with so many great things, both for guests and hosts, but if there is no will from hotel owner, there are no results... :(
