Hotel Nordseehalle

working in Hamburg all week, I wanted to go to the see, and be less than 100km away. I enjoyed Busum which is a port town with class, and the Nordseehalle, might be the best hotel in town. I was greeted, given the last room with apologies as i had not booked, and they were full. What a great room superbly clean, great bed, nice furnishings....and breakfast was elegant by a sunny window with views of the see and quaint harbor. I consider myself lucky to have such a room with terrace, view, and total quiet, as it was on the third floor overlooking the town...which is a combination of Balboa, Carmel, and Sausalito with upmarket shops, tens of restaurants, great fish, and warn tooms. The owners are professional people who know what good quality is in food, maintenance, and furnishings.. Please book ahead, and be ready for a lovely stay...I am planning to leave Hamburg on a friday, and enjoy the sourroundings , returning Sunday evening. One aspect that was a delight is that they have an internet system that is hard wired per room with a special device so that it works well , and allowed me to do some critical business work. I also found the value was exceptional, much cheaper than Hamburg, and sea air included. The fitness rooms and swimming pools are across the path toward the beach. No need for anything when you stay in the hotel. Parking was reserved, which is a great advantage.
