Stayed here for two nights for Wacken. Rooms were clean, fairly comfortable, and reasonably priced. About 30 minutes from Hamburg downtown by car. The train seems to be around 20 minutes. Staff are helpful though English is very very very limited. Be prepared before you get here so you don’t have to ask too many questions. The staff are friendly and will try to help if they can. The hotel has wi-fi, though it is a bit weak, but satisfactory for low star hotel. You cannot expect too much. There is parking in the back. Breakfasts were very simple, but good. It is very close to the highway, but there is not much around the hotel other than a gas station and a Burger King. Up the main road it seems there are some other things, but it’s a small spread out town. I’d stay here again if I had to.
