Schifferstadt is a small city with no real tourist attraction. Given that, why should one consider this hotel? First, the hotel is extremely close to the bahnhof, where it is a quick trip to Mannheim and other cities on the Rhein in the area. Second, the staff is extremely friendly and speaks fluently in both German and English. Third, the restaurant food is very good. The breakfast has a great variety of good food choices. Excellent tasting German dinners are available Monday through Thursday in the hotel restaurant. Finally, the beds are very comfortable.
