32 reviewsThe Heinrich-Shutz-Residenz has a very old world feeling with all the modern amenities. Our apartment had a full kitchen, a dining and living area, and a large bedroom with plenty of closet space. The residence is centrally located in the square of the FrauenKirche. It's a few minutes walk to all the main attractions in the AltStadt of Dresden. The building was once owned by the famous composer Heinrich Shutz. So it has plenty of history. But has been renovated recently. The apartments are spacious and beautiful. We would have loved to just move right in! This was our favorite place we've stayed in many trips to Germany. We felt like we were at home the moment we walked into the apartment. The check in/out process was simple, the service was great, and the location couldn't have been better. The windows are so sound proof we barely heard any noise from the square. After a week in Berlin, the quiet was appreciated. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Dresden. I fully recommend the residence for your next stay there.
