It really gives you that rustic German feel. Coming from America, you really know you aren’t home, yet it feels so comfy, you can make yourself at home easily. In the Harz mountains, it gives you access to snowboarding or skiing at the drop of a hat and yet, it’s not too cold if you want to spend some time outside. Beautiful, comfy hotel with the nicest management you’ll ever meet. The hot breakfast is such a spread, it really has something for everyone, and I don’t usually speak highly of breakfast. When I review something I always try to include a negative to give it more authenticity but I really can’t find anything negative to say about this homey hotel. :) 10/10
