Golfhotel Koenig

We were booked into the Golfhotel for a friend's visit to receive an award. From the moment that we arrived we were treated really well. We each had a double room, which was bigger than most hotels that I have been to. We found that the breakfast room had everything that we would need, for a continental breakfast, including scrambled egg and bacon. Hot drinks were given out by Frau Konig, who we later found owned the hotel. The rooms were cleaned well, and the cleaning staff will always wish you a "Good morning" when you pass. The beds were comfortable, and the duvets warm. Another good point is, that if you come back after reception has closed in the evening, the room key opens the two outside doors. There is also free WiFi, which gives a good reception all around the hotel. I would like to thank Frau Konig and her staff for a fantastic hotel, and I would recommend anyone visiting Salzgitter to give it a try.
