27 reviewsMy boss booked this hotel for me and my mate so we weren't expecting too much!. Little did he realise what a lovely little hidden gem he'd found. The hosts Sandra and Patrick were charming,friendly and very welcoming and the food was fantastic (had to get Sandra to translate the menu for me - my german is sadly lacking) The bar is well stocked and all the bar/restaurant staff are very attentive and friendly. The rooms were very well presented and spotless. The bathrooms were well equipped, clean and modern. The bed was one of the most comfortable i've ever slept on - I would have taken it home if i could. Breakfasts are hearty traditional german, some gorgeous breads, eggs, sausages etc and plenty of it! You wont go hungry at the Wahlster. Can't recommend this place enough. I.ve been there twice and the second time was even better..
