Gästehaus Obert-Vallon

We stayed here over New Year 2016, having already stayed in the village some years previous. The guest house is very well appointed, very close to the Europa Park (the reason for so many guest houses in Rust!) and although the rooms were quite small, everything was thought of. The room was very warm and had adequate bedding and was very clean, with everything functional and in good condition. There is TV, a coffee machine, free wi-fi, storage and bedside amenities. Breakfast was also very good, lots of food to choose from as well as fresh coffee, in a dedicated room on the same floor of the house. Parking off road was provided and overall I couldn't fault this little place. The owners were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. There was a guide in the room in various languages that told you of all the things to be done locally from just walking to going further afield to the Black Forest etc. Everything went very smoothly and we thank our hosts for a very pleasant trip once again to the lovely village of Rust.
