This place is a real find. It's not expensive and the room we had was superb, modern decoration, modern furniture, nice bathroom and a view straight out to the town walls and roder tower. The room was really clean and had a tassimo machine so you could make yourself a drink. Although this place is just inside the town walls and on one of the main routes in and out of the old town, it really wasn't noisy at all and we had a room on the front corner overlooking both the street and the wall. If you want to walk the walls you can literally walk straight out of the guest entrance and up the stairs. If you want to walk to the Christmas market/town square it's only a 5 minute walk. Really easy access to the Christmas market from here. Even the medieval torture/criminal museum is only a 5 min walk away. It also has some parking spaces available to guests if you pre book. It's not immediately outside but only a 30 second walk away. If you want to have breakfast you can pay extra and it's really good value. There was a lovely selection of everything you need for breakfast and the most delicious cappuccino freshly made. And if you're worrying that the rooms will be noisy from the restaurant down below, Don't! We were on the front corner right over the restaurant and we couldn't hear a thing from it day or evening. To check in, just pop inside the restaurant and tell them you have a room booked. Then they will show you the side entrance for guests and show you the room, and even help you with your bags. Really good service. This is a superb place to stay and we will most definitely be back.
