This was a clean, basic room to stay inside the city walls. The sign outside was not super obvious, we could have passed it by easily. To "check in" you use a code to open a lockbox in the main hallway to get your key cards, and you get a code for the front door. No elevator, and the stairs are steep. Be prepared to climb. The room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have a fridge but did have an electric kettle. The best recommendation for this guesthouse was it's perfect location. A short walk to basically everything you want to see in Rothenberg obT, including the Christmas Market. There is a bakery on the corner and a grocery store within a slightly longer walk. We also walked from and to the train station with no problem. I would stay here again.
