Hotel Orphée Andreasstadel

We like this hotel and come here for the Jazz festival once a year, for many years already. „Landhaus“ may be a bit misleading, you will find yourself still in the city, but on an island in the river Danube. Reception service is a bit limited; it feels more like a small and charming apartment building. The rooms are big, some of them face the river and have a small terrace, others ore simply on street level and even have a door to the street. This may feel somehow disturbing, so better make sure wich type of room you get. We love to make use of the street situation by sitting outside on the street in candlelight late in the night, which most passers-by find very romantic. The walk to downtown over the old stone bridge is simply wonderful, breathtaking view and such a friendly, lively crowd of people everywhere!
