This place is amazing, a 3 bedroom apartment right in the centre of town, just a few metres from the Dom with access via a security gate for peace of mind

Stayed here several times & it's always excellent, the owners are very friendly & helpful.

They also own an Italian restaurant I would highly recommend, if you stay ask them about it!

Outstanding apartment in the centre of town

Granted, there are many options for a stay in Regensburg, but there is only one place, in the center of Regensburg, in the shadow of St Peter's Cathedral, with a private parking place in a gated courtyard, with caring owners, that is Domizil. Furthermore, the apartment is very spacious, with three bed rooms and all facilities you could wish. The decoration gives Domizil a special atmosphere, so that you feel at home immediately. The rent is not cheap, but also an impersonal hotel room in Regensburg center is not cheap. Less expensive hotels can be found in the outskirts of Regensburg, where a 15 minute bus ride brings you to the center. We used that option in the past and it is really doable; a day ticket for two on the Regensburg Public Transport is stunningly cheap. But for us there is only one relevant way to enjoy the charming and impressive medieval town of Regensburg: Stay at Domizil.

The only relevant place to stay in Regensburg

This apartment suite was on of the most beautiful and elegant suites that I have ever stayed. They remodeled an 800 year old original building and transformed it in to a smart home, complete with an IPad that controls the entire home!
Not one detail was missed, from the ultra comfortable adjustable beds, to the down covering and pillows, and refinished antique furniture mixed with modern eclectic furniture, to make this place a must stay. 
They kept the beautiful original exposed stone and wood details so you can still have the experience of the period, while not sacrificing comfort. 
Highly recommend for the higher end traveler. 

Germany vacation with friends 

I'm so glad we decided to spend our fist night in Germany in Regensburg rather than Munich. We had a certain amount of difficulty finding the apartment, as Regensburg has a pretty horrendous one way/pedestrian only system. In the end we had to call Leo, the manager to rescue us. He arrived within minutes and was extremely helpful. The apartment is situated in a small interior courtyard in a building shared with a catering school, among others. They were also fine about us leaving the car in the private car park the day we left, after checking out, so we could have a day exploring without having to worry about luggage. The apartment is well equipped, with three double bedrooms. The kitchen has both a Nespresso and a filter coffee machine, and comes supplied with plenty of pods. There is a wood-burning stove, and a wide selection of books, fiction, art, Bavarian history etc. unfortunately mainly in German.
The one drawback was the proximity to local churches whose bells rang at 6 am, and again at 7am - though I was the only one of our party that noticed, I think. It is also a big advantage that it is so centrally place, as it is within easy walking distance of all the historical city centre. Wish we'd booked for longer.

Nice location. Interesting decor

In June we spent a weekend in the beautiful Regensburg, where we stayed for the second time in the home. It is not least this apartment that makes a visit to Regensburg always a relaxing and beautiful holiday. In the center, right at the cathedral, you can reach all the sights, bars and restaurants of Immenstadt very quickly. The home itself offers three individually and stylishly furnished bedrooms, a great bathroom and an open living and dining area that invites you to relax and cozy cooking and cooking together. Regensburg with nights in the home is definitely always worth a trip!

A great weekend trip.

With our group of friends, we went to Regensburg for a long weekend and were looking for an apartment that could accommodate more than 10 people, but it is still something special. The home is very spacious and elegant. A successful mix of modernity in an original setting. The large kitchen has everything you need for a cozy cooking evening with friends. The table can accommodate far more than 10 people and you can easily spend a glass of wine on the large sofa in front of the car. The home has 3 super-clean rooms, so you can definitely withdraw your types and privacy even during the weekend.

I highly recommend it.

As we wanted to visit Regensburg this December, and especially the famous Christmas Market in the Thurn und Taxis castle, we surveyed the booking sites on the Internet for a hotel or an apartment in the center of Regensburg with a guaranteed parking space. After a couple of false starts we ended up by booking Domizil Regensburg. We could not have made a better choice. Domizil is situated in the center of Regensburg right behind the Domplatz. Getting there through the historic center is a bit tricky, but setting the destination on the satnav to the "Pfluggasse" and from there following the directions written out on the Domizil website, brings you in front of the doors to the courtyard, where the Domizil apartment is. A phone call to the owner is all that is needed to get the doors open and to drive the car to the reserved parking space in the courtyard. The apartment is on the first floor (second floor in USA view); the staircase with 18 steps may be challenging for people with a physical impediment. The apartment has an extremely spacious and nicely appointed living quarters with open kitchen containing all facilities you can think of. Three bed rooms and a spacious and spotlessly clean bathroom with rain shower complete the layout. The owner who welcomed us, was very caring and dedicated to get us settled down. Domizil brought us exactly what we were looking for: a luxury "pied-a-terre" in the Unesco world heritage site that Regensburg is, with a guaranteed parking space. Shopping, sightseeing, visiting the Christmas Markets, eating sausage rolls and drinking "Gluhwein" was light work with the thought that our home from home was only a few steps away for a rest or to dump the shopping bags. Granted, the rent is a bit pricey, but Domizil Regensburg is value for money. Is there nothing then to criticize? Of course, if you look hard enough, nothing is perfect. The rain shower could be improved with an additional hand shower and a shelf for putting the soap dish and shampoo bottle would also be an improvement on the comfort. However, we had an outstanding stay in the beautiful city of Regensburg and are looking forward to our next stay. We surely will select Domizil again.

The ultimate stay in Regensburg

We stayed here with a family with kids in August, returning from a stay in Croatia, on our way back in the Netherlands. Regenburg is a beautiful old German town along the Danube. Luckily, it has largely been spared during the war. The city is ful of nice buildings, museums, restaurants and shops and has lots to offer. However, if you get there: stay at this wonderful appartment. It is big, lofty,roomy, lovely decorated and it comes well equipped. It will make your stay just the perfect stay!

Big, beautiful, luxurious, elegant loft in Regenburg

It is spacious, with an interesting setting, and very centrally located in the courtyard of a respectable building, between the cathedral and the Old Chapel. The sleep is very quiet and relaxing despite the central location, as the apartment is shrouded in a closed courtyard. Even the car has a safe parking space, as you can only get to this interior area through a large entrance door. The rented couple is very friendly and always accessible to the wishes of the guests. For the fireplace there was a lot of wood burning and charm, the kitchen and other living areas feel a large amount of viscosity. There is a lot of literature and rainbow. Here nearby - television and a large bedroom. This room can be enjoyed in the city, but only with a contemporary bathroom and a modern living room. This is a place where you can enjoy the history of the city, but you can enjoy a nice living room with a modern bathroom and a modern atmosphere.
