This is a wonderful location, with parking on site in a place where parking is at a premium. We had an "apartment" which provided extra living space for my cousin and I in the midst of a vacation where our beds were usually 2" apart for a marginal additional cost. It's not luxurious and the "spa" tax was never explained, but the hotel is clean, the breakfast was wonderful. Our check-in person was super friendly. The bathroom was spacious, offered a hair dryer. And it's just 2 blocks from the town center. It does not have an elevator, and the layout is complicated. You go up and down a number of stairs to get to your room, breakfast, etc. But in our entire vacation in Germany, this was my favorite hotel.
