Theophanos Suiten im Kunsthaus

First of all, the place is in old town Quedlinburg so don't be expecting a new building or one that was built in the 20th century. As the rooms are at the first floor, expect stairs. I wouldn't recommend the place to those who have mobility issues or parents with small children who are not used to small creaky stairs. We got the Charlotte room (if I'm not mistaken) and it really has that old grand feeling with wide spaces, a huge bed and a few dated armoires. I loved the feel of wooden flooring (feels good walking around barefoot). Our bedroom faces the street and if you open the window, you will hear all the noise (even if its just one car or someone walking down the street) but its mostly silent. Its a stark contrast to one who is used to city noises. Every time someone walks by, I felt like doing some people watching because its rare. Do book for breakfast. Although, it wasn't much (compared to other breakfast buffets we had in our trip), it was very filling and tide us through the day. The owner was very accommodating in serving us breakfast to the time that we wanted it.
